Wolf Chief on wooden base - red cedar
What a wonderful piece. Fully hand carved, please check out the Chief's face, the carving and expression is marvelous. Vibrant and clean painting. The red and white just looks fabulous on this beautiful red cedar. Chief is wearing the wolf on body and as crown. Chief looks very proud and powerful. It's carved on one side, signature at the back. So much love and many hours of work went into this piece.
Measurements: 23" x 6" x 1/2", Base is 7" x 3 1/2"
Meaning: The Wolf represents loyalty, strong family ties, good communication, education, understanding and intelligence. Of all land animals, the Wolf has the strongest supernatural powers and is the most accomplished hunter. The Wolf is a very social and communicative creature; he uses body movement, touch and sound.
