Fully hand made, beautiful hand painted and signed LIDDED BOX, showing the Wolf

designed and carved by SARAH ROBERTSON, a member of the Kwakiulth First Nations, originating from Kingcome Inlet, BC. 

As always, fabulous craftsmanship, easy recognizable as one of Sarah's pieces of art, deep and clean cuts, very rich painting in vibrant red and black. Each side of the Box is carved in incredible detail. Signed underneath. Fully hand crafted. Sarah usually leaves pencil marks on the wood on the inside, they can be easily erased but I do leave that up to you - I think it just gives the box more character.... A wonderful addition to any collection or it makes a beautiful and unique gift.

Measurements: 7 1/4" x 7 1/4" x 7", inner opening: 4 1/2" x 4 1/2"

Meaning: The Wolf represents loyalty, strong family ties, good communication, education, understanding and intelligence. Of all land animals, the Wolf has the strongest supernatural powers and is the most accomplished hunter. The Wolf is a very social and communicative creature; he uses body movement, touch and sound.
