Wild Woman Mask - HIGHEST QUALITY CRAFTSMENSHIP
Estimated date: 1960's-70, easy recognizable (and signed) piece by JACK JAMES, a Master carver, well known, originating and living most of his live on Gilford Island, British Columbia's Pacific Northwest Coast of Canada. Jack was a member of the Kwakwakaw' wakw First Nation. One of his grandson's, Joe Peters (who passed away in 1994) was also a well known master carver who credits his grandfather for mentoring and teaching him.
Measurements: 9.5" tall, 8.5" wide, 5" deep
