36" EAGLE MOON Mask, an incredible piece by renowned Artist John Livingston

The moon face is carved from a solid piece of red cedar - the rim which is depicting the Eagle, is carved from yellow cedar. The colours and motives are traditional Kwakiutl - very professional and clean carving and painting only a master can manage. The bright colours of the eyes make this piece even more outstanding and gives it a strong and intense expression! A true master piece of Indigenous Art!

Measurements: 36" diameter - the images just don't do it justice!!!!

Meaning: The Moon is associated with transformation since it controls the tides and illuminates the dark. It is seen as a guardian spirit.
