How beautiful is this?

Hand carved, hand painted HUMMINGBIRD DANCE RATTLE by Sarah Robertson from Kingcome Inlet in BC.

Easy recognizable as Sarah's artwork, This BIRD of LOVE is carved all around (3D), clearly showing the female touch, yet still keeping traditional forms and designs in mind. The color is vibrant, traditional red and black, she added a little bit of glittering but very dark blue, just a gorgeous piece  - and did you see the heart on the hummingbird's head? The rattle has a great sound - just an amazing piece, carved with lots of love

Measurements: 12 1/2" x 3" x 2" (32 x 7.5 x 5 cm)

Meaning The Hummingbird teaches you to appreciate and love the miracle of living and to help you focus on the positivity in your life. They represent friendship, playfulness and are a symbol of good luck. They are seen as messengers of peace, heal body and soul and guide you through life's challenges. Hummingbirds are very independent and seem to have an unlimited energy supply. They symbolize wonder, love and beauty.
