These old Nootka Totem Poles (estimated age 1950's) by Harry Williams Sr. are really hard to find, especially in this size
19" tall Thunderbird with Whale Spirit over Bear with human
Cedar wood, hand carved, hand painted, very detailed, traditional colors used, great condition but it is showing signs of gentle handling and aging, nothing unexpected, tiny chip on right side of wing, easy fix...
Handwritten Signature at back of pole - the last image show's little Harry Sr. with his father Wilson - a picture his son Harry T. proudly provided during one of my latest visits with him.
Measurements: 19" x 3" x 4", wingspan 16 1/2, base 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" (48 x 7.5 x 10 cm/wings 42 cm/ base 9x11.5 cm)
