Mother LOON with BABY

wall panel by Nootka Master artist Brian Bob

The eyes are inlaid with Abalone, beautifully stained to accentuate the natural grain of the wood (yellow cedar, flat grain). Very deep carving, gorgeous flow, superb craftsmanship!! Signed at the back - prepared for wall hanging but can stand on it's own since it's so thick - looks stunning e.g. standing on the Fireplace mantle or at an entrance - just a powerful statement piece, depicting love and patience. So detailed.

Measurements: 21" x 9" x 1 1/2" (53.5 x 23 x 4 cm)

Meaning: The Loon symbolizes serenity and tranquility. They teach us to listen to and learn from our dreams, because if you believe in them, the might come true and your hopes and wishes will be fulfilled.
