Vintage and superb piece of Indigenous Art

Two-Spirit Witch Mask by the Metis Nations master artist Terry Jackson who learned and worked with many members of the Hunt family as well as with Glen Rabena and Francis Horne. Terry carved this piece in 1980.

This piece is a great example of superb craftsmanship - just have a look at the images, the expression in the face of this piece - have a look at it from the right side, then from the left - excellent! The painting is truly masterfully applied, so clean and so powerful. Even the ears - carved and part of the mask which is very hard to find on masks - it's difficult to accomplish but Terry did a fabulous job.

Measurements: 9" x 8 1/2" x 4 1/2" (23 x 21.5 x 11 cm)
