Beautiful find - OLD Piece of high quality Indigenous Art

This vintage Model Totem Pole is hand carved and signed by the Nootka (Nuuh-chah-nulth) Frist Nations artist Wesley Williams (1942 - 1992). It depicts a Hummingbird over Human Spirit over Whale.

The estimated age is late 1960's. The material is red cedar and it is stained dark brown. The totem is excellent condition with no chips, splits, cracks etc. Williams totems are highly collectible. I was just meeting Irene (Wesley's sister) last week who was thrilled to see her brother's artwork and confirm the estimated age should be close.

Measurements: 14" x 2 1/4" x 2" (36 x 6 x 5 cm)
