Mr. Jackson Robertson is a Master Carver from the Westcoast of Canada, British Columbia. 

He has been carving yellow and red cedar for over 40 years. This is one of his latest pieces - really spectacular and very detailed. It's signed on the back by the artist. 

His Tribal affiliation is the Tsawataineuk First Nation from Kingcome Inlet BC but he has lived most of his life in Nanaimo. 

This panel is really amazing. It's depicting the Octopus... carved to perfection!!! Check out the details - A stain has been applied to accentuate the natural stain of the wood. It's painted with red and black. It's 18" long and 10" wide
