MOTHER SALMON

Cedar wall art, inlaid with Abalone (Mother of pearl), painted in simple but vibrant blue, unusual but absolutely gorgeous piece of Indigenous Art by the Master Artist Brian Bob from the Nuuh-chah-nulth First Nation (Nootka). Signed at the back, hanger already attached, prepared for wall hanging.

Measurements: 19 1/2" x 5 1/2"  1/2" (49.5 x 14 x 1.5 cm)

Meaning: The Salmon symbolizes prosperity, renewal and fertility. They are one of the most important and highest respected animals of all since they have been the primary food source from the beginning of time to the Northwest Coast First Nations.
