Very nice piece of Indigenous Art
BLACK BEAR
by Greg Sylvester. Greg is a member of the Penelakut First Nation. A very experienced artist who grew up in a large family of carvers. He captured the movements of the bear really beautifully. His lines are not as deep but very precise, as is the painting. And keeping it only black on the yellow pine gives it a beautiful expression.
Measurements: 15" x 8 1/2" x 1/2" (38 x 22 x 2.5 cm)
