Hand carved, hand painted
SEA SERPENT by Leon Williams from the Ditidath First Nation, a fourth generation artist from a large and world wide known family of carvers.
This piece is so unique – and very detailed. It’s a massive piece of solid and beautiful yellow cedar wood, so very detailed carving. The piece is inlaid with large and small pieces of Abalone which truly adds to the expression. Simply outstanding. It also shows the Killer Whale with the Raven inside the body - as well as the Salmon, have a close look! this piece is really a impressive size.
