OTTER wall art carving.
So very detailed, the depth of the carving lines is incredible, you can clearly see the 40 and more years of experience. Gorgeous cedar, stained to accentuate the natural grain of the wood, then polished, the eye is decorated with a piece of Abalone (Mother of pearl) which really gives it a beautiful expression. Carved at the front, signed at the back, made and prepared for wall hanging, hanger already attached.
Measurements 18" x 9" x 1/2" (46 x 23 x 1.5 cm)
Meaning: The Otter is a symbol for intelligence, resourcefulness and playfulness. They are seen as a symbol of laughter and light-heartedness. They are known to be accomplished fisher, and therefore often are depicted with a fish.
