Really superb quality piece of art

SALMON, by the Coast Salish First Nation Artist Neil Baker. He used beautiful and traditional colors, carved very clean lines on red cedar wood. The quality and the details are incredible - showing off the beauty of true Indigenous Art. Have a look, let the images speak for themselves.

Measurements: 17 1/2" x 7" x 1/2" (44.5 x 18 x 1.5 cm)

Meaning: The Salmon symbolizes prosperity, renewal and fertility. They are one of the most important and highest respected animals of all since they have been the primary food source from the beginning of time to the Northwest Coast First Nations. The Salmon also is a symbol of the Great Warriors. It represents those people who have given others what they need with themselves last. One who needs no reward - a pure giver.
