Aleck, George

George Aleck, 1956 is a member of the Coast Salish First Nations, originating from  Duncan, British Columbia’s Pacific Northwest Coast, Vancouver Island, Canada. George credits his uncle Willie Good as his teacher and mentor. He comes from a large family based from Kuper Island and learned a lot just by watching other family members and artists from his tribe. Today, his experience from many years of carving, his love for the art and his attention to detail makes his pieces of art highly sought after and collected worldwide.
