Cootes, Ellery
Ellery Cootes is a member of the Ucluelet/Huuayaht First Nation, originating from Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. He has over 35 years experience in carving and still loves what he's doing - Today he is focusing on wood carvings including totems and wall panels and his pieces are highly collectible. He credits his Uncle William Dennis for his skills.
