Alfred Crocker is a member of the Coast Salish First Nation, originating from Chemainus, a small harbor town on Vancouver Island, British Columbia’s Pacific NorthwestCoast. Alfred, a former Salmon fisherman, started carving in 1991 and credits Tommy Paul for his inspiration and teaching. He was born in 1950 and to this day, enjoys carving plaques and wooden sculptures.
