Douglas, David
Douglas David is a member of the Nuu-chah-nulth Nation. He was born in Seattle in 1971 He is of Dakota and Sioux descent. Both of his parents Joe David and Sandra Tuifua (nee Parry) are artists, and from birth, Douglas has been exposed to the traditional art of these cultures. Douglas is an experienced carver and his works are in various collections worldwide.
Douglas currently lives in Port Alberni, B.C. with his wife and children and continues to carve in a traditional style.
