George, Chris
Chris George, born 1967, is a member of the Ucluelet First Nations, from the Northwestern part of Vancouver Island in BC. The Ucluelet First Nation (government Nuu-chah-nulth) is the modern treaty government of the Yuuklu-aht on the Northwest side of Barkley Sound, his roots are from Kyuquot Sound.
Chris is carving beautiful cedar art, from talking stick, to wall art and sculptures and masks. He is a clearly highly talented artist who developed his own style over the years, coming from a family of artist, he followed into his father's footsteps.
