Good, Robin

Robin Good is a member of the Snuneymuxw First Nation, he is the son of Mel Good and Cathy Alleck who are both master carvers from the Snuneymuxw Nation (Nanaimo) and have taught their art to their children Robin Good, Mel Good Jr. and Celestine Alleck. This family of artists work mostly in yellow cedar with a dark and highly polished finish which brings out the deep shadowsThey do not use coloured paint on their carvings.
