Jules, Eddy

Eddy Jules is a member of the Kyuquot First Nation, Coast Salish, residing on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. He has many years of experience in the wood carving art and is particularly recognized through his technique of adzing - a traditional style of carving by using a hooked knife and his extremely deep cuts. He doesn't like to paint his pieces but always adds a stain. He credits late Norman John as his teacher and mentor.
