Martin, Bruce

Bruce Martin is a well known artist from the Pacific Northwest Coast of Canada, British Columbia, originating from Nanaimo, a small town on Vancouver Island. He is a member of the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation. The Tla-o-qui-aht Nation itself is located in Tofino with over 1200 Members. As a traditionally strong nation, their teachings continue to honor the traditional Governance of their Ha’wiih (Hereditary Chiefs), and in doing so they provide service to their members to care, and promote traditional values.
