Matilpi, Stanley

Stan Matilpi was born at Alert Bay on Vancouver Island in 1936. He is a  member of the very prominent Northwest Coast Matilpi family. Stanley began carving in the late 1960's & trained under the guidance of his brother Oscar Matilpi. He passed away in 2005.
