Rice, Herb
Herb Rice is a very well known, and very well liked master carver, and a member of the Coast Salish First Nation. He has great talent, and has worked at his craft for over 30 years and still loves every minute he spends in his studio working on wood. He currently resides and works near Cowichan Bay, a small town on Vancouver Island along the pacific Northwest Coast of British Columbia, Canada. His work varies in size, from custom carved doors to totem poles. His pieces are found in private collections all over Europe and North America.
