Small but beautiful and high quality carving of a
3D Thunderbird Talking Stick by the Kwakiulth First Nation Artist Gino Seward
This piece is fully knife finished, you can clearly see the knife marks, just incredible. Gino really puts so much love and work in every single piece of his art. Stained in light brown and polished wood. The stain Gino applied just accentuates the beautiful grain of the wood, small but beautiful piece of Art and so easy recognizable as one of Gino's pieces. Signed.

Meaning: The Thunderbird symbolizes supernatural power and is believed to be the dominating force behind all of natures doings. It's a mythical creature and only the most prestigious and powerful Chiefs are allowed to have the Thunderbird as a crest especially among the Kwagiulth, Nuu-Chah-Nulth and Coast Salish people.
