The face carved out of this solid, and old piece of red cedar. Please have a look at the grain of the wood. A very powerful piece of Art. The forehead shows a pair of Thunderbirds, painted to perfection, adding to the power of the Wind Chief. Signed at the back. This is one of his earlier pieces, it was carven in 1990

Decorated with lots of the traditional cedar bark – just a beautiful, artistic and traditional combination. The carving itself is superb, excellent craftsmanship by an artist who clearly loves and lives this art and tradition, following in his ancestor’s footsteps.
