Very impressive and gorgeous SALMON with Eagle heads by Indigenous, First Nation artist Brian Bob from the Nootka Nation (Nuu-chah-nulth)
Fully hand carved, stained, decorated with copper....The carving is exceptional. The gorgeous wood (sitka spruce) is stained in green, accuanting the natural grain of the gorgeous, clean wood. As always, Brian's carving lines are so clean and deep - This piece makes every room or just makes a fabulous impression in an entrance area! It's made and prepared for wall hanging, carved in front, signed at the back, hanger already attached.

Meaning: The Salmon symbolizes prosperity, renewal and fertility. They are one of the most important and highest respected animals of all since they have been the primary food source from the beginning of time to the Northwest Coast First Nations.
