This is one of Tom's earlier pieces, dated 1991. Truly superb carving, please look at the depth and balance in the carving. Tradition painting, very powerful expression, simply true Indigenous art. The face is adorned with cedar rope. A combination of black horsehair and cedar bark adorning the face. Solid cedar, fabulous finish, even at the back. The mask is of course guaranteed authentic, signed on the inside at the back, prepared for wall hanging.
