Beautiful piece of Indigenous Art

fully hand carved and hand painted by Randy Stiglitz, Indigenous artist from the Coast Salish First Nations and his wife, also a very well known artist Janice Morin from the Cree Nation. Both now living on the Pacific Northwest Coast. 

Transforming Human/Eagle Mask with Baby Eaglet crown

Clean and vibrant painting, superb craftsmanship, high caliber and just a great addition to any native art collection. Randy and Janice are just an awesome match and are working together as a team for many many years. And it shows!

The mask is decorated with the traditional cedar bark and already prepared for wall hanging, hanger attached. Signed and dated at the back by both artists. 

Measurements: 10" wide, 9" high, 8" deep

Meaning: Eagles mate for life and are therefore also seen as a symbol of lasting love and dedication. It is told that the Eagle end their own life in despair when the mate is lost. Eagle feathers are used in the most important ceremonies, a display of respect, courage, Chieftainship and wisdom
