Beautiful Steller's Jay (Blue Jay) wall sculpture just arrived....

I just truly love this piece

Blue Jay / Steller's Jay, hand carved, designed, hand painted and signed by Greg Henderson, a member of the Wei Wai Kum First Nation, Kwakwaka'wakw

This sculpture is so beautiful, in painting, in expression, in posture... just so real. Greg used cedar. You can see the knife marks all throughout the piece, Greg spent a lot of time on this piece. It's hollowed out from the back and signed on the inside. Prepared for wall hanging. 

It's painted in a deep black with vibrant blue, Greg started with a light green stain, please have a look, the color combination is stunning and works just so great together, looks just like the real Steller's Jay when the sun is shining on it's feathers. Just have a close look at the images please, I will let them speak for themself... 

Measurements: 18" tall, 6 1/2" wide, 11" deep
