RAVEN PORTRAIT MASK by Indigenous artist Janice Morin (Cree/Coast Salish) - she's working together with her partner of more than 35 years, well known artist Randy Stiglitz (Coast Salish). 

Hand carved wooden (bass) Portrait Mask - just fabulous! This mask is really intense. Very vibrant color. The face is adorned with black horse hair. The Raven's body is hand carved and hand painted in very clean lines and truly gorgeous details - It's one of my favourite pieces - have a look at the images please - I will let them speak for themselves

In the Kwakwaka'wakw culture the Raven is known as the messenger of the sky and famous for being a somewhat mischievous glutton. He's always out to please himself and to have a good time.
