Large SEAL with Salmon spirit wall art carving by Indigenous artist Brian Bob from the Nootka First Nation
This piece truly is incredible, powerful presence, inlaid with abalone (mother of pearl). Made and prepared for wall hanging, Brian signed it at the back.
Brian pays so much attention to details and the cuts are so deep and clean, it clearly shows his many many years of experience and his talent for this art. Stained in a dark blue to accentuate the natural grain of the wood, beautiful. Just a gorgeous piece of Indigenous Art from the Pacific Northwest, the sitka spruce just has a beautiful grain. The images don't do it justice.
Measurements: 29" x 8" x 1 1/2"
