Excellent LARGE authentic Komakwa Mask by the late Artist Tony Hunt Jr.

Kwakiulth Chief of the Sea (Komakwa)

Solid Cedar, decorated with the traditional cedar bark and cedar robe, vibrant colors, a great example of true Indigenous Art. Tony clearly loved this art, putting so much effort and details into it. The expression is fabulous, the carving so clean, clearly executed by a master of this art. We are very sad to have lost just a great talented carver, such a gentle sould and kind human being who was highly respected and very much loved.
