This is stunning! Check out how thin this piece is - so fragile, only a true master carver can manage a carving like this. It's almost "paper thin" but the details in the carving are exceptional, clean line, the expressions are strong, powerful facial expression on the chief and elegant, strong and watchful expression on the eagle. 

This piece of wood from the cedar tree was hand carved by the Squamish Nation Artist Darcy Joseph. I will let the images speak for themselves.
