Wind and Tide Moon by Ditidath First Nation Artist Russell Tate
This piece is hand carved out of ONE PIECE of red cedar - most artists are mounting the face of the moon on top, but Russell went the extra mile and carved it out of the cedar. The painting is so vibrant, really excellent expression and very powerful. He adorned the piece with the traditional cedar bark.
