This piece is HUGE - the images don't do it justice!
4.7 ft (55") large SALMON - Brian calls it his DEEP BLUE SEA SALMON, inlaid with Abalone, masterfully hand carved by artist Brian Bob from Nanoose Bay.
Truly a special piece - one of the most beautiful pieces I have seen in a while. The carving is exceptional. The gorgeous wood (sitkus spruce) is stained with a dak, intense blue, accentuating the natural grain of the gorgeous, clean wood. As always, Brian's carving lines are so clean and deep - the expression, amazing! It's made and prepared for wall hanging, carved in front, signed at the back, hanger already attached. This is a piece to impress - it clearly makes EVERY room!!!
Measurements: 55" long, 16" high, 1" thick (no overseass shipping available)
Meaning: The Salmon symbolizes prosperity, renewal and fertility.
