Another incredible piece by a master of this art: Shane Flood Baker Squamish First Nation (Coast Salish)

Solid yellow cedar WOLF wall art carving

The expression in this piece is really gorgeous. As always, Shane puts so much love and attention to details into his art. the lines of the carving are so clean, the painting so rich and close to perfection. Just have a look at the wolf's teeth - It does have a tiny natural flaw from the grain of the wood - just adds to the character. It's made and prepared for wall hanging, hanger already attached, signed and dated at the back. Now I let the images speak for themselves... Have a look...

Measurements: 25" x 12" x 1" (64 x 30.5 x 2.5 cm)

Meaning: The Wolf represents loyalty, strong family ties, good communication, education, understanding and intelligence. Of all land animals, the Wolf has the strongest supernatural powers and is the most accomplished hunter. The Wolf is a very social and communicative creature.
