Loving PAIR of Hummingbirds (Birds of Love) with Eagle spirits by Heiltsuk First Nation artist Charles George Sr., originating from Bella Bella, British Columbia, Canada
Stained, hand painted in black and copper color, wonderful and playful expression, the carving lines are clean and detailed. You can clearly see the knife marks in the carving, absolutely everything on this piece is fully hand made, carving, painting, design - really nice. prepared for wall hanging, signed at the back. The stain applied accentuated the natural grain of the wood.
