Another incredible piece of Art by artist Tom D. Hunt (Walawidi), son of Hereditary Chief George Hunt and May Hunt from the Kwakiulth First Nations, Vancouver Island.

RAVEN mask

This Raven is carved the "old style - Kwagul/Tlingit" - During the early stages of Tom's artistic development and when working with his Grandfather Sam Henderson, Tom learned the traditional forms of the Nakwaxda'xw Nation (Blunden Harbour) -  absolutely incredible. Tom as always puts so much love and attention to details into his art. The cuts are incredibly clean and deep - the painting is exceptional and just adds to the expression. The mask is decorated with the traditional cedar bark. Just a gorgeous, authentic and true piece of Indigenous Art - solid cedar wood, prepared for wall hanging, signed on the inside.

Measurements: 42" wide x 28" high x 13 1/2" deep

Please take the time to read Tom'[s biography which I'm providing below - it's quite impressive....
