Designed, hand carved and hand painted by Neil Baker, a member of the Coast Salish (Squamish) First Nations, originating from Vancouver Island.

Beautiful red cedar - so very detailed, clean cut-out, highest quality craftsmanship - beautiful expression. It shows four salmons. Neil put a lot of work into his pieces - the carving is truly excellent, made and prepared for wall hanging, hanger attached, carved in front, signed at the back. 

Measurements: 26" x 6" x 1/2" 

Meaning: The Salmon symbolizes prosperity, renewal and fertility. They are one of the most important and highest respected animals of all since they have been the primary food source from the beginning of time to the Northwest Coast First Nations.
