Beautiful little thing.... by master artist Kolten Khasalus Grant, originating from the Capilano Reserve in North Vancouver, BC, Canada. His detailed biography is provided below.
Title: RIP Tide spirit to repel negativity (Miniature Mask)
Unique, absolutely incredible craftsmanship and just mesmerizing expression, haunting, very powerful and rich. Wearing small Abalone earrings. On each side of the face is a salmon symbol to represent the sea and also because they are the salmon eating people. Salmon also represents to them prosperity to whoever owns it.
Kolten rubbed the mask with graphite for it to appear ancient. Decorated with white horse hair.
Small, but a marvelous little gem! It looks great on the wall. Also, it looks great in a frame. The frame you see in the images will be added for FREE (it's not new and shows signs of wear) but I think the little mask looks great in it.
