How adorable is this one? Absolutely beautiful expression in this authentic and true piece of Indigenous Art from the Pacific Northwest Coast of Canada, BC.

OWL, circular yellow cedar wall art carving

designed, hand carved, hand painted and signed by Tsawout/Pacheedaht First Nation artist Bear (Doug) Horne, son of Doug LaFortune and member of a very large family of artists.

You can see the knife marks on the cedar, the carving lines are close to perfection, very clean, detailed, as is the painting. The soft blue combined with the white on the yellow of the cedar - looks just fabulous.

Measurements: 20" diameter, 1 1/2" thick

Meaning: The Owl is associated with the souls of the ancestors and are viewed with high respect. They symbolize wisdom, intuition and prophecies and sacred knowledge.

Note: USD amounts estimated based on Bank of Canada average exchange rate, updated weekly, Invoice in CAD, no overseas shipping
