Isn't this an absolutely wonderful piece of Art?

Kolten Khasalus Grant from the Kwakiulth First Nations just brought us this amazing

As always absolutely supreme quality of carving. Every piece Kolten is bringing in is beating the last one, clearly influenced by his mentor Klatle-Bhi but still finding his own style and distinctive, always very much having history and story telling of his peoples in mind. The red cedar is marvelous. Please have a look at the grain - and as always, the eyes in Kolten's mask are just so intense. Haunting and powerful. The black horse hair adorning the face gives it the perfect frame. Kolten is using and mixing his own colors and his soft green with vibrant red together with the deep black is just fabulous.

Red cedar, prepared for wall hanging, signed and dated at the back. Thank you Kolten for yet another marvelous piece of true Indigenous art.
