Blue Heron Bowl, Centerpiece, designed, hand carved, hand painted and signed by Randy Stiglitz, a member of the Coast Salish First Nations. It's also signed by Randys wife Janice Morin, both are working together, a incredible team! 

The expression of this piece is just incredible. Did you have a look at the heron's face when it's looking at you? Just amazing. The carving lines are deep, detailed, clean and straight. The bowl is inlaid all over with pieces of Abalone. The soft choice of colors truly adds to the beauty and elegance of this piece - Simple and true elegance. This piece makes every room.

Meaning: In the native culture of the Pacific Northwest Coast First Nations, the Heron is known to be a “lucky charm” for successful fishing. He is a symbol of grace, elegance, patience and good luck. At the same time Heron’s are known to be loner and in some tribes are associated with weakness for flattery and vanity
