Another amazing piece of Art by First Nations Artist Gino Seward, a member of the Kwakutl (Kwakwakaw'wakw", living on Vancouver Island, Canada's Pacific Northwest Coast of British Columbia.

Grizzly Bear Sculpture

Have a close look at the carving itself - so deep and detailed, it truly is stunning. The expression of the Bear is beautiful, the carving so deep (have a look at the eyes and the teeth of the bear). The dark stain just adds to it and accentuates the beautiful grain of the wood. Signed with carved initials. Fabulous Northwest native American art at it's best. Guaranteed authentic and hand carved by native artist

Measurements: 12" x 4" x 4"

Meaning: The Bear is a symbol for power, courage, physical strength and leadership. Warrior's e.g. are known to wear bear claw necklaces which meant protection.
