What a great centerpiece. Tom used Alder for this piece. Please have a close look, it's fully carved out by hand - you can clearly see the knife marks - a marvelous piece of Art. Graceful and beautiful expression. The painting is also close to perfection, traditional colors black and red, showing off the gorgeous clear yellow of the wood.
These kind of bowls are used in many ceremonies. Don't miss the chance to get a piece of true Indigenous art by this artist, as he said, he won't make another one like it and he put a tremendous amount of work and time into this piece.
