Stunning piece of Indigeneous Art by the Tsawout First Nation Master carver TOM LAFORTUNE. 

EAGLE PORTRAIT MASK, Solid yellow cedar, powerful painted in black and red - very detailed Eagle painting on the right side of the face, VERY rich expression, elegant and clean carving, easy recognizable as one of Tom's art pieces. Adorned with the traditional cedar bark rope. Tom told me that his pieces of Art are coming right from his heart. He has a very close connection to every piece he is making and always shows his love for detail. He explained that his appreciation for the Traditions of his Nation and his History is always in his mind. Tom is a very gentle, friendly, kind and highly knowledgeable artist, well liked in his community and I consider it at honor to be able to call him my friend.
