Huge SISIUTL (Sea Serpent) Wall panel

by the Kwakwakaw' wakw Master artist John Livingston

Measurements: 5 ft (60") x 11" - that's the Sisiutl itself - the total measurements in the frame are 68" x 18" x 2" 

This spectacular piece is one of John's earlier carvings. He carved it in 1971, and as you can see, it even comes with a picture, showing the Artist actually carving it when he was 21 years old. John, who is now 66, mounted his carving on a beautiful cedar background and added a beautiful black wooden frame - the result is absolutely stunning!!

The Sisiutl is fully carved throughout - extremely detailed and painted in traditional and vibrant colors - it's polished and even after all those years - looks like new!!!
