This piece is made with so much attention to details, you can clearly see it was made with love and appreciation for the history and culture of the peoples. The wooden, fully hand carved figurine/puppet is depicting a man, fully dressed in fur, holding a drum in it's hand. He's wearing the wolf headdress, also fully hand carved on his head. The piece is attributed to the "Black Wolf Society" of the Coast Salish Nation.
The little drum is hand painted, showing a killer whale. This is not a new piece, it's dated 1989 and does show some minor loss on the fur, please have a close look at the images, lower right side. The figurine is standing on a wooden base which is signed by the artist in carved signature.
